Eunice Burdick
Eunice Burdick (maiden name: Parsons) was born on April 23, 1832, in Williamstown, Massachusetts, to Orrin and Florinda Parsons. Her father was a laborer. She married Luke Burdick, and they had at least three children: Marilla, born around 1858; Edith, born around 1861; and Mark, born around 1865. They lived in Adams, Massachusetts, and her husband worked in a cotton mill. By 1870, he owned $2,000 of real estate and $300 of personal property. Her husband died in 1891, and by 1900, she was living in her son Mark’s household in North Adams, Massachusetts. By 1920, she was living in her daughter Marilla’s household in North Adams. She died of bronchitis on April 24, 1923, in Buckland, Massachusetts.
