i have not much to write so it will not take long to say it we expect lots of male when we get to Memphus i hope i will get some letters there i receive a few from SSS and / 1 or 2 from my Sisters and one from my poor old farther he is at Gordons Ruth keep up good spirits and if we met not on earth O meet me i that better land there will be no more sorrow there

O how happy i was to hear that you was all well. Ruth dear and affectionate Ruth did you get a letter that i spoke something of your birth day do not be so melincolly cast down all will be well some day if you want to keep the team keep it and i will get another horse but i thought a one horse waggon
