                                    I cannot begin to tell you how surprised and delighted I was at receiving your lovely book, and when I read your dedication, my heart warmed indeed that you should remember me in such a charming manner. /

 

            If only I was at our old home in Worcester, I can think of so many people I could interest in your book. Mr. Easton who is the largest stationer & bookseller there would I am sure be interested in it especially as he is an old cavalry man—6^th New York—I believe—I am quite sure if you wrote him and sent a copy that would be willing to sell them for you & would be able to do so on quite a large scale perhaps.             My uncle is librarian of the Post 10 and might want to get some for the G.A.R. library. I will tell him about it. Address T. Spencer Jenks Quarter-Masters Dept. 263 Summer St. Boston Mass. I should think it would be a book schools would like to have. Why don't you write to some of the Supts. of Schools in leading cities. But probably you have done this & many other things. I certainly hope the book is selling well—it deserves it.
