Sabbath afternoon
My Dear Natt
Yours of June 14th I received the 5th which was thrice welcome. You cant think how happy I was to get a letter. it has been read several times. I should have been still happier if you had got my letters. I cant think you think me quite / so heartless as not write to you. I realize it fully that you have been gone a long long time but for that I trust I have not forgotten you for a day and dont think I could if you were to stay three years more which I trust you will not. I sometimes get discouraged and think you will not come this fall. It has been a beautiful day I have not been to Church today I was feeling quite tired and thought I should be better of at home I suppose you will say a poor excuse is better than / none. There was not much going on here the fourth the children had a picnic. I did not celebrate much only I went a strawberring and got caut out in shower I got about as wet as I cared to I got enough strawberries to pay me for going. I wish you had been here to have helped eat them. I have not been in the shop since last wednesday night I had to hurry so much before the fourth I told Mr Kenyon I should not come in again that week I shall have to go in tomorrow I almost dread to for I dont / feel rested. My brother went home last Tuesday we miss them very much Natt I wish you would send your picture I have not got many of them and even if I had a new one would be welcome as for your growing old that is your say so. it cant be your looks unless you have changed considerable since you sent your last picture to me. I guess it is the other way I have grown old so you would hardly know me. I have gone poor this summer I dont know when I weighed so little as I do now. When the apples get ripe I shall flesh up. well Natt I think here is as much as you will want to read Pleas write soon and often
I am as ever yours Truly
Nellie F Stanley
