Dear Brother it is with
pleasure that I take this
opportunity to answer yo
ur letter. We are all well
and hope that these
few lines will find
you the same. I am
helping Father hay
now he has been sick
and is a little behind
Niles and Marson
have been up to day
Miles has just recieved
a letter from you
Dan Parker has had
the measles and Mrs Parker
and Mary Prudence and
Washington hav got
them now Roselle Jewell
has left Mr Parkers
They have got Nancy Riley
now.
Curtice Staceys Wife
has got a little girl
they expect another
rigiment to St
soon I recieved 10 dolars
from you last Sunday
I hav not paid Sisy and
Nolton yet but I shall
as soon as I get through
haying. Write how you
fair and whether you get
enough to eat.
Dave Hastings sends his
respects to you. your leters
are read often every one
that comes wants to hear
from you Giv my love
to the rest of the boys
You must try to do
right and may you peseveer
in all of your under takings
ther Father and Mother
send their love to you
and want you
should come home
if you are sick
Write as soon
as you get this and now
I must bid you good
by for now for it
