Eliza Ann Cook
Eliza Ann Cook (maiden name: Leighton) was born around 1824 in Kittery, Maine. She married John Cook on September 15, 1841, and they had at least two children: John, born around 1842; and William, born around 1845. Her husband died sometime before 1855. She lived in Salem, Massachusetts, and by 1870, she owned $2,000 of real estate. She died of diabetes in Salem on June 20, 1898.
