Dear Father
We are both well and in good spirits we are making some prtty good marching three days 20 miles per day & feel well we leave soon for Penn- - - but what point I do not know we are now only 40 miles from P line I think we go to York the Rebs are but a few miles from us & we are after them in good force they must soon fight of us. I think by the 4th of July you may expect to hear of a great battle our Army was never in better health. there is but one man in our company but what is able to go into a fight which I have never seen before. give my love to all I will write again soon if nothing Juliaette kiss cara for me & Frank write soon & I remain
