I am not very well at presant but will try to scrible a little to you the drougth & heat is very hard on me have had some pane in my lungs but very slight bleeding; I am some better today; the 3 rest are well
Sorry to here that my Dora had the teethache, hope she is well again. I must write as things come to my mind I am happy to here that you have united with the Evangelis Church be faithfull workers in your Masters caus I have asked for my letter from the M.E. Church at trout creek perhaps I will join the U. B. class here the boys will drop trout creek this fall & form a class at the Log Chaple we ware to ¼ Meting at Mr penns school house last Sabath had a very good meeting Expected Jacob here but did not come /
Dora, pleas write to Mr trout doo they ware here & took us to ¼ Meting Mr Richason was married to Evaline Mecham 2 weeks ago he wants to here from George
Able White at Constantine fell from the roof of a house & soon died from the fall the hard S. Babtist Church here was dedicated on wednesday the 20 inst. Much parade & show but I fere not much pure religion. we did not tend in daytime, but the 3 & I went in the evning & herd what I would call dry lecture about S[?] & Ebaneezer or some other Jem—o Pride & Vanity thou lately to sleep but enough of this [faded]
Wm I could not get those Records yet I will try to get them as soon as I can get some money in; it is very scarse with me this summer I have some out but it is slow coming in, & I dont like to borrow any money here. /
I was in Elkhart a few weeks ago & was very plesantaly entertained by John Schlear over night. they are all well & doing well also visited Mr Wansbroughs they are tolerable well & send there love to you I am tired & cant write much more today
John brought Ema home on the 13th of this month, her birth-day, age 22. She aperes much pleased with her new home & dose all she can to make me comfortable & happy if I could see you all some times I would be very happy, but this cant be for the presant, perhaps if I can sell out I will surley come out there & buy land take good care of my dear little Arthur Give him a big squeas & one dozen of big kisses for me

Dear Children
I feel a little better today, able to finish this letter. I would like to go to Jacobs in 2 weeks but perhaps I wont be able I will see Bro Sethman next Saturday & get those [?] for you & send them when John, Emy Cyrus & Libey write I have some [faded] & frames at several places to sell on comition & it has used up my capital, it will come in by & by. I hope I will make enough to have my expence to Mason Co. & back this fall well dear Children I hope you will not get homesick, it is bad enough if I get it; I have it very hard sometimes but hope I will be able to see you all this fall or winter & stay with you a while. I must close Mail time.
