Alinda Eudora Albright (maiden name: Wade) was born on December 3, 1846, in Elkhart County, Indiana, to Joel Wade. Her father was a farmer who owned $500 of real estate by 1850. Her father moved to Porter, Michigan, in the 1850s, but she apparently remained in Elkhart County until at least 1860. She married William Orlando Albright on January 28, 1866, and they had at least three children: Arthur, born around 1867; Estella, born around 1869; and John, born around 1879. Their daughter Estella died of “croup” in May 1870 when she was only nine months old.
They lived in Indiana until the late 1860s, when they probably moved to Iowa. By 1870, they were living in Porter, Michigan, and her husband was working as a farmer. The family moved to Riverton, Michigan, in the 1870s, and her husband earned a living as a schoolteacher. She died in Ludington, Michigan, on September 6, 1900.
