Dear Children
I have not herd from you, so long ago, it seems so to me any how; so I thought I would try & scribble a little to you; to get an answer very soon too
We are all as well as usual. Cyrus had a dangerous fall from the eve of the store he was brused very much but no limbs broken. it hapened 2 week ago today he comensed in the store today again feels very well they are building an adition to the store, front & side Gormans sick and geting better, old Jacob Rinehart has been very sick some better, old Lewis Bs family have been very sick, considerable sickness at the River
I got my letter from the M.E. Church. Last night we all with Mr & Mrs Trout & Mrs Adams joined the Class west of us at Ross School House. we ware very much welcomed there & John was elected one of the Leders; & will get his local license, the first ¼ Meting
I would like to be with you this fall but will have to wait till spring; I hop I can soon send some Records & some Glass cutters, Dimond Temper a new thing goes well & good profit & redy sale to carpenters &c &c
Dear Children dont get homesick & take good care of my dear Artey; we are geting along very plesantly but I would like to see you all very much. Elder Ashley started today for Pentwater on a visit, has 3 daughters living there he would like to see you. I must close my love to all I sent 5 papers some time ago & 4 today
