I will try and write you a few lines to tell you that I am some better I am not abel to be out of the house perhaps I might if the weather was in my favour, but that is against me. was very glad to heare from you after so long a time. glad that you have got a good Chance to help yourselfe Teaching school if it is among the Heathen. well Bill I hope you will do well up thair, would not care if I was up thair myselfe, may be I will come some time if I live and am Abel; well my Circuit (part at least) has and is doing fore me thay have come to se me from one point with a lot of things. well I hope that you will and Family try and live a good religious life good by fore this time, write soon your Bro J. Glad to here that you are all well hope you will continue so we have a very open winter here have had no sleighing here this winter but very wet wether & very changeable but not much sickness
