            Dear Children & my Dear Artey
Although I feel very weak & feble this morning I will try to scrible a few lines to you; I feel very feble this morning cough much I spent 3 weeks with Elen & Henrey they are well, but the water gave me the go quick, so I had to leve for Fields Cyrus fetched me to Porter last Sunday I will leve here in a few days again for L Markley & Rinks &c no stay here I must come & see the Boys sometimes. Elen intends to moove to her Fathers in August or Sept, after harvest, Dora, to keep house for her Bro Lester Wiener
 
I was to Elkhart last Saturday to see Jn Schlere, he will not go to Ludington till 13th of Septr. My coming out to see you will have to be delayed some on account of my poor health & money. it cost me 4 to go & come &c to Elens.

while at Elens I was stuned by lightning it struck a post in front of the house & I was seting in the dore & it open 6 rod from where I was seting I did not fall from the chair, but it has had a bad efect on me I am feble since I cant write much more to week & feble
 
Pleas write soon & often to me Bristol fields
 
Pleas send the Recd if you posibly can it will be a great help to me
 
inclosed is some stamps for it
 
I have just tryed to eat some diner but it would not go. Got to coughing & had a severe coughing spell, feel some better but feble. Extreams of heat & cold affect me very much. it is very warm perhaps I may get a little better, if so I will make my personal apearence in your home. I must close hope you will write soon to me Bristol & fields
