Your letter was very welcome indeed Consequently we will answer it immediately.

Dear Brother and Family.
Have been to meeting twice today, down west this morning. Bro Luse preached a while after which your humble servant talked a while This afternoon went up to the Chapel, held prayer meeting, we have two members there I have been elected a kind of a leader to hold meetings there &c.

If I were in your place, I think I should let those that wanted to quarrell have their way about it and gather up those that are peaceful and have a good time May God Bless you and may you do your duty and all will be well. Hope this will find you well.
                                                                                                Your Brother John
