Daniel Francis Albright was born on October 16, 1874, in Michigan to John W. Albright and Sophia E. Bower. His father was a grocer. The family moved to Brimfield, Indiana, in the late 1870s and then to Mill, Indiana, sometime before 1900. By 1910, he was working as a farmer in Orange, Indiana. According to his World War I draft registration card, he was medium height, with brown hair and gray eyes. He never married. By 1940, he was working as a hired hand on a farm in Orange. A decade later, he was a groundskeeper at a sanitarium in Noble County, Indiana. He died of “arteriosclerotic heart disease” On January 1, 1957, in Rome City, Indiana.
