Dear Brother,
I will write you a short note that you may know where I am. We left Louisville yesterday at 12 oclock and arrived here at 12 to day. We came up on the river. I feel well to day except I am somewhat woried. My wound does not look as well as it did, though I dont think there is much the matter only it was not dressed since yesterday morning untill I got here. I have no news to / write you and will close.
Your Affectionate Brother
W H Bone.
To A L Bone.
