Dear Papa
I wrote home to Mama Sunday, saying I was coming home next week, but did not tell her what day, so I thought I would write and tell you. you can come after me next Wednesday after-noon I am going to bring trunk and all my belonging's. I want to come home and work on my own hook, and not for other people's benifit, for little or nonthing. have many things to tell you when I see you, so you can / come in a conveyance, so as to take my trunk home. How is Mama & all. Uncle Doc send you his love, and say's to tell you that he is well, and would like to see you, & Auntie send's you her love. I am well and hope you are all the same Emma has gone to Trenton to night, at the dancing school, but Oh my that gets her, that I intend to leave her, she thinks I am compelled to stay with her, & think's that I ought to stay, but I will show her a thing' or two. /
If you can I would like you to spare me a dollar, when you come, but if not I will have to do without. I want to earn money now very bad. I am a dressmaker now, and have the wonderful trade my time is all served, so I think I will get along all O.K. if Emma does hint that I wont get along well it is ended, so I intend to come home next Wednesday afternoon or evening just as it suit's you, to come after me. write me a letter as soon / as you get this, and tell me, if it will be convenient for you to come for me. I send my love to all, and keep a portion for yourself, from me,
Good Bye I remain
