Dear Wife
            as i have not receivd any answer to my letters i thought that i should write you another wich i hope will bring an answer they moved me away from the Hospital on Fryday last but now i am back they took me to dismounted camp and i could not stay their so they brought me back i am a little stronger if i keep out of the sun but the moment i get in the sun it overpowers me and i have to get in the shade very quick i do not know wen i shall get out but i hope soon if they would give me one kind of medicin i think that i would get over it but since i have been sick i have / under 4 diferent docters all give diferent kinds of medicin tow of them help me and two done me harm made me worse but i am still in hopes of better treatment i tell you this sun stroke is very bad feeling you get so weak some times you think that you would be better dead but you get over that soon as you get to thinking wat a fool you have been to think so i was only out of my head a day and a night and a little in the morning we get good care hear and i would like to join my rejiment but i am afraid that i will have to wait until cold wether if i get another touch of sun it might not go so well with me you must send me a letter if you can i should be pleased to receive / one i have not had one in some time not since you sent the shirt i got one from mother mailed on the 22nd of July on Saturday and one from Charlie Sonberger mailed on the 26th of the same month i am still looking for one from you of a later date but it seems that you have forgotten perhaps sick i hope not for that would be bad i look very ankious evry day for one but it comes not i think you better send them to the rejiment for i can get them from their and they appear to go strait through i want to answer mothers to day and Charlies if i can get stamps i have sent you five and got no answer i sent you a dollar bill one of the rebs in one letter some time agoe but i never heard wether you receivd it or not just let me know / i hope soon to get a letter from all my Friends i cannot see wat keeps H J Smith so still unless he never got my letters that must be it but i hope he has for i sent them fair as ever and most of letters goes i get all that is sent to me at any rate that is i think so now wen you write just let me know how you are all getting along for i feel very ankious to find out just see wen you see pool if he sent that pencil if not he need not mind i have got one and hope he has sent it to kind a like you now for the one i got did not come from Jersey but if he has not sent it he need not unless he wants to i dreamed the other night that you came by me and asked me twice how i felt and stooped down and kissed me and left from your loving husband
