Gracieuse Lohidoy
Gracieuse Lohidoy was born around December 1838 in France. She eventually immigrated to America and settled in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. She married William Muirhead on July 7, 1863, and they had at least five children: Arnaud, born around 1866; Grace, born around 1868; John, born around 1869; William, born around 1874; and Flora, born around 1876. They lived in Washington, D.C., and her husband worked as an engraver and coal dealer. By 1870, they owned $6,500 of real estate and $400 of personal property. She died in Washington, D.C., on September 3, 1907.
