Remembred Friend.
I have resorted to my pen and I hope I may not offend you in so doing It being Sunday i thought i must improve the time. First saying that i got home last Sunday evning safe and sound wright side up with cair it was 15 minutes past eight and tired was no name for it i went to bed but sleep was not thair. we have had thrashers this week and i am very lazy to day we have had from 20 to 23 all the week to wait on. I have slept about too hours to day and i thought i would get up and see what i could do with a pen and ink but it wont be much with a rigment of children round me chating to me all the time / and beside all of that I hafto coax this pen to make a mark no more of this. well i will tell you what i have ben thinking of mostly this week it is of that of draft wondering if i should pick up the Pioneer this week coming I read over the drafted men and read you name then I think the expectations of the next three weeks would be doubtful but hoping it wont be so but if it proves to be so i shall hafto abide by it i sopose. The object of this note is to get them colts if possible for i want to let the folks know down here that thair is nice horses their as well as here Well it has just struck too and i must be thinking about supper no I forgot to tell you last Sunday that you mite have that likness to send to Nette Buckman i think she has the best wright of it i say this because she had the promis of it before i ever seen it thair fore she may have it /
