                                    it with pleasher I take my pend in hand to inform you that I am well at present and hope that theas linds will find you engoying as good health as you can wish for I have no news to write you that will interes Mr. Harest if you pleas send me all the money that you owe me and you will oblige me verry mutch in so doing I will tell you what I want with it I want to by upt the boys wagers and I can by them for half prise I would not send to you for it but I want to be making some money for this war will last a long time and I want to make enouh to pay my detes when this war closes and that is my only chance I have save all my money that I have made since I have bin here and I have bought upt a great many of them I can take five dollars and by ten you now what you said that you would let my wages goon until crismas I have drawed $75 from you if you pleas send it by Bob gerdin and I will be able to send you                             Thomas Broom
 
twice the amunt of what you send me in about 6 months.
