Dear parents tis with great pleasher that i right to let you no that i am well and hope thes few lines will find you the same to tis some cold hear and some sno hear to but it is geting some warmer hear than it has ben Rather cold nights then we like he but we hopto take them We some think that we shall hafto move but dont no when we shall hafto go but hope soon it will be Jack Crown and Gilmon Care has ben hear to day they are both well and send ther love to you Fat as hogs both of them Jack is pinear of this regemant he ses he should like to se you all first rate and / he wants you should right to him Gorge is 40 miles from them you sed that you had had an order from the State tresery to draw my money that is all right jest get it and take care of it as you see fit to next pay day i shall send home more money you sed that Charles colts was agointo be sold at sherifs sale i should like the dire colt if you can bie him cheap anough to make it pa to and if hay is cheap anough to buie if you cant get him so to sute you buie a yoke of stears to or 3 years old jest as / you can if you cant pay for them all down i will send it to you pay part of it down and the rest of it in 2 or 3 months you no that they are good propety to have or get you a cow if you want one they are good you no i think so for i shall want a goodeal of bred and mik to eat and me and my wife will want a cow to and oxen to to plow the ground on Lester holor hill soon But it wont be Elen Noies mind that now her name will be ABBIE if i get her / and i shall trie to get her if i can what do you think of that do you think that i can Buie hur is she to be sold or not She is as good as they will everige i think dont you
