Amelia Frances Gibson

Amelia (Parmelia) Frances Gibson (maiden name: Goins) was the first wife of William Gibson, who was also her first cousin. The couple got married around 1860 in Athens County, Ohio. Gibson was the sister of Albemarle USCT veteran Nimrod Goins. She and William had three children together: Lucy A., born around 1857; Ezella, born around 1859; and Penn L., born around 1871. She died on September 2, 1889, of injuries sustained from a railroad crash in Sharpsburg, Ohio.
