Jane Robb (maiden name: Dunlap) was born on May 1, 1820, in Ohio. She married Samuel Robb on May 1, 1844, and they had at least four children: Nancy, born around 1844; Matthew, born around 1848; Prudence, born around 1854; and Letitia, born around 1856. They lived in Bristol, Ohio, and her husband worked as a farmer. By 1850, they owned $500 of real estate. A decade later, they owned $1,000 of real estate and $400 of personal property, and by 1870, their wealth had grown to $3,925 of real estate and $1,200 of personal property. Her husband died on December 30, 1890, and she died on July 24, 1892.
