Sir.
I am directed by His Excellency the Governor to inform you that, after making inquiry on Washington, he has been unable to find that there is any intention on the part of the Government to organize regiments of flying infantry. It has been suggested that some of the Commanders in the field may have such a project in hand but the War Department has no knowledge of it
