I got a letter from govt to night and was glad to hear from you you wanted to no if I did not want to wright till they make sugar be fore you sent the bango no send it Just as soon as you can for I am in a hury for it I will be 6 months befoer I git it now send it soon I thinck that bens picture is a very good one send yours Mother & Father to that fellows naim is / William Crain And that galls naim is Angie Fish send me that rasor that I sent for and strap send me a lot of black thread our army has ben with in two miles of Richmond they sheled the sitty yestday and then fell back 2 or 3 miles next timb it is ours there is grait Chearing in the army thare aint any more news this timb so good bye
