Friends at homb I now take my pen in hand to let you no that I am well and hop that these few lines will find you the saim I reseved a letter from you last night and was very glad to hear from you is there many houses going up ther this spring what ar awl of the folks doing up that way is evry thing dead or is any thing lively what ar they doing in Packards shop this spring is it open or is it the saim as ever I dont no what to wright for I wright so often this will be short I want you to send me 2 E strings for my banjo for I have no money and dont now / expect to hav any more very soon but when I git paid it will awl comb and if I dont git paid this year it will comb next year is the Vt 11 to homb now or not I heard that it was we some expect to go to Boston in July and stop in fort waren that is what the Cornal sais if we do I shall come homb and see the folks on a furlow I wroat to Mary last week she has got a cousand in this Company his naim is Buckminster [?] from New Hampshire last week he is a [?] Where is Jason now I hav roat to him / or [?] tell him to wright so no more this timb This from your Son
