Friends at homb I got your letter to day and was gladd to hear from you and to hear that you was well our Regament charged on the enimies worcks and got repulced last sunday but I dont hav any thing to do when they was in the fight I was a bout 1 mild back to the rear with the surgon we ar laying in camp now and ar a going back to our old camp to night did you git that money that I sent to you $100 dollars by express hear is a reseet if you hav not got it you can I cant wright any more now tell Robb Clemont / that when I git homb I will worck for him this from W W Harvey we lost 40 in our regament in the charg it was a bout 1½ from the danvil rail road next timb we will git it lett me no a bout the money soon
