Camp Near Peatersburg
Friends at homb I reseved a letter from you and was gladd to hear from you you said that you had writen 4 or 5 letters sinc you had reseved any I hav writen as often as 2 or 3 letters a week I hav not reseved a letter befoar for a long timb I hav not reseved any money nor eather of my boxes and it is very strang I said in my other letter that I should not wright any more / letters while I was in the army but I guess that I shall continue to answer what I get I dont feal quit so cross to day as I did the other letter I wroat da befor yestday I went down and ho did I see but rob Holder he is in the 6 coar a Jersy regament I was some what surprised when I saw him I expect to go to washington this week or next I see some of the st Johnsbury boys evry day or 2 it / has benn raining very hard for a day or 2 hear it is pretty cold hear now I shall go and see capt Bonett when he gits back he is a bout one mild from hear I hav seen all of the boys a bout that is out from St Johnsbury wright soon and all of the news so I will close by bidding you a good day
