Dear friends att homb it has benn a long timb sinc I wroat to you last but you must excuse me for I hav benn expecting to go to washington evry day there is a larg moov agoing to bee maid I am agoing to the hospital to night I am fatt as a hog in good health but the sargeon thought that the hospital was the place for me I hav benn expectin a transfur into the invalad Corps for a bout 2 months I hav binn examined and pased the bord for a transfur / or a dis Charge and dont no wht dont wory a bout me if you wright Direct as you hav awl of my letters it is a bout 12 at night and I must cloas this from your respectiv son
