Dear Father & Mother
            Will write you a line to night as it has been some time since I have writin you I am well as usual and I hope you are the same This afternoon have been to a funeral the first one of our Lodge K of H that has died. Mr. Chapman he was one of the foreman over to the shop I shall go up home this spring some time but dont think they will shut down before May as they are not ready to put in the [?] I suppose you / will be glad to see me any time Iras familey are all well and send love to you. think Ira will make you a visit if they shut down. wish could see you all to night You must excuse this short letter am all out of paper will write more next time
