My Dear Mother
Your letter was received last night and I was very sorry I had kept you waiting you see I was way of the track as I intended to go up to the fair and was going to carry up some things to you. had it not been for that I should have writen you before but I will send you some money to come down with and get you some gloves and other little things you want Elsie can get them for you I conclude that Father is not coming / when you do Is Elsie going to stay up home I should think it would be a good arrangement for Elsie to stay and keep house for Father untill Father gets ready to come then you can stop and see them when you go back Father must come tell him he will get many to come with when he gets ready I am slow but sure now write and tell me all what your arrangements are and when we may expect you here. glad Aunt Sarah is coming Ira and Nell are very anxious to see you I am / going to write to Will to night
love to All
from your
loving Son Ben
