            Dear Neice I recived your welcom letter in due time I wold of answerd it before but coldnot on acount of the high school consert that took place on the 23rd I had to prepare Alice for it as she is one of the music scholars you speak of Isabel she got hear all rite the next day she went to Thomies as I thought it wold be the best to let her go so as to let them know that she had come she came hear on christmas and is hear yet she looks it first rate and is happy as a bird Emely is fixing her up as fast as she can I think she as got a first rate pace if she is a good girl she sends her love to all Alice talked of coming up next week as she as a weeks vacation and she wants to see you all very much she is not / very well to day she as got a soar throat if she is well a nuff she will come the first of the week Mary will come with her if she comes I do not want those stockings now is I had of known it sooner I wold of taken them we are all well with the exception of Alice and hope this will find you all well and now I must stop I have a grate deal more to tell you but must stop for the want of time your affectinant Aunt
