Dear wife i thot i wod ansur your kind & welcom letter which i resieved Oct 9, 62. & was very glad to hear from you & that you was well Dear honey, if you dont like it to John Hibbards you can move to James Hibbards if you rather James told me that he wanted you to & i rather you wod than to move out of the vilage for i shal be more contented to now whare you are & to hear from you as often Dear honey i feel sor that i cant be with you now but i cant i am sory you are so lonsum but you must ceep up good corage / it is lonsum with out you but i cant help it now Dear honey move up to Loris & if you want to work out you get in with a small famley so the work wont be so hard for you i feel sory to have you work out but i spose you wil but dont leave the village for i have got to be examend a gain at albany & the rest of us Dear honey you don well with the pigs & gardin i am glad their of your mind ceep your mind as easey as you can Dear honey i am glad that you aint a going down to Marias it relieved me a good deal to read it Dear honey the reson that i didant want you to move / up to Loris is this i thot that hur sister was a going to stay their this winter Dear honey move up to Loris by all means Dear honey just as soon as i get my bounty i shal send it to you and i want you to use as much of it as you want but dont lend it to eny wone Thomas was down hear to day he sed that you was over to his house last sunday Dear honey dont move out of town you nead not work out un les you have a want to after i get my bounty Dear honey i cant right very often for i ante got much money but honey i want you to rite as often as you can  for it dos me / good to read your letters i was out on dril & when i came in from dril i didant get the same ink just as wet Dear honey we dont now when we are a going to leave hear i wil try & let you now 2 or 3 days befor we do if you cum down hear there is no chance to go a round with you & that wood make me feel bad i havent ben in orburn since i came from home we are 2 milds from orburn Dear honey get an easy place if you work out but if you ceep hour yod an be your one bos & do as your a minto when i send you the money you can by in stuf for the winter it wont cost you much to live a lone up their in Loris rome the rent wont cost you eny thing for rent & james ses that he wont charg no rent he wants you to move up their i cant think of eny more at presant give my love to al of my friend give my love to mrs Cane and to ant Dency and to my folks Dear Dear wif i send my love to you from all the rest & right soon honey from your affectnate husband
