it is with plsuer i sit dow to write those few lines to you to let you now we are all well hoping those few lines will find you and Williams folks the same Dear sister you must excuse me for not writing before this you now i am a poor one to write but i wil not wait so long again Dear sister i was in palmyra not long ago Julia had got a letter from you at that time Anna is working for Luther Chaseman i guess it is a pretty hard place for work thomas Mcgory is not well this winter he is not able to work anny now he is doctering with a docter in newark Dear sister i let you now michal Mcgrady has been home on eight days furlowe / he was over to tommys him and Anna and his sister and spent the evening they say he looks well Dear sister i let you now albr Rymes sister you now [?] is married to John Mccormick in [?] you now he buried his wife before you went away i let you now michal [?] is married to Margot Powers that girl he said he wouldent marry Dear Sister Anna D[?] and John Corwing was married last fall she has gone south with him Dear sister have you heard from Maria lattely i had a letter from her about the same time i got yours i answered it a little while after getting it so i have not hurd from her since she was wishfull to come to palmyra to live at that time i told her all about it and the prices of every thing as she was wished to move
Dear sister how do you like it up there or when do think you will come down is franke going to school this winter i supose he is quite a big boy now how dose william get along this winter what did he call his boy and who stood for it if you have anything to say about katie when you write do it by itself on a bit of paper so James or tommy wont see it then they wont be talking for you now what they are Dear sister have you got you any thing new this winter how is your health now Dear sister we all going to have a ball the 11 of feby i wish you was here to bee at it i would have you a bow that night Dear sister we talk some of selling out this spring or els renting it to some one you now the place is / small and it takes James all his time pretty much to see to it if he had a large place he would have to do it Dear sister when did you hear from any of the hibbards i have not seen any of them lattely the baby is well she weighs 19 pounds she has got six teeth franky is quite a little pudge he talks a good dell about you Julias baby is talking sins last fall she is a smart child the rest of them are all well give my love to William and franky and kate when you see them have you seen John gordons folks lattely give my love to them and Albert when see them no more at presant from your affectenate sister
