Margaret Doyle
Margaret Doyle (maiden name: Garvey) was born in 1838. She married James Doyle, and they had at least eight children: Thomas, born around 1857; Peter, born around 1859; Franklin, born around 1862; James, born around 1867; William, born around 1869; Julia, born around 1873; John, born around 1875; and Daniel, born around 1879. They lived in Palmyra, New York, and her husband worked as a day laborer. By 1860, they owned $600 of real estate. They moved to Macedon, New York, in the 1860s, and her husband worked as a farmer there. Her husband died in 1891. By 1905, she was living in her daughter Julia’s household in Macedon. She died in Macedon in 1912.
