My dear Sister Brother
              I received your kind & welcome letter last night I hasten to answer it So dear Brother you are probly a gone to war I feel bad to have you go but I hope you will return all safe & sound to your dear friends again how much of a company have they raised in Palmyra & do they give them any thing they are giving here one hundread & 50 dollers for nine months men & State aid. they think if they raise this squad of men they will not have the draft here. I do not think Amos will go he is not strong enough. he does not feel well. dear Sister if William goes I will come & keep house with you / & Amos will come & that will make it great deal pleasenter for us both you can bord with us or we can have the house togather but we will fix all that when we get their so that it will be right on both sides Amos thinks he could do well to bring copple of flocking frames with him & one to make shirts on I think he could sell them dont you & dont you think he could get work at walkers you might ask him & tell him he thinks of coming west to stay this winter tell him his health is not very good & thinks a chang of air will do him good or perhaps Root & how would give him work for a while I hate Ipswich worse than ever since I come back to it I have not unpacked my dishes I am very glad I have not have you heard from Noris yet or have you writen to him do you think we / will get the our mony how dos Norma & her clan getlong & have you seen mary cince I come away have you got your little pigs yet & are your tomatoes ripe yet tell william I want him to have his likeness taken for me before he goes give my best love to him & all the rest of the folks did Julia get my letter I want you write immediatly write me all & every thing I will tell you in my next letter when I shall come
