My Dear Niece
                        I received your kind letter in dew time but have neglected answeren it till now I was pleased to hear from you and hear that you was well this leaves us all well old Mr Osman was bared to day Loray Father Mrs Buts dide last weak Anna Williams Frankes cousen dide three weaks past Mr Bromfield adopted daughter has got a boy it thought Broomfield is the father to it that doin bisiness I think it good sleighen hear now but I hant been in a sleigh this winter Frankey went ought to Ontario two weaks a go She had a fine sleigh ride thay are all well ought thair thay sent for Alandow boddy this fall but thay could not find it Mary Alfred Hibbard wife is verry sick a weak a goe Satterday night we was sent for thay thought she was dien Plinny and I sot up thair but she got better she ante able to set up now Plinny has just gon up to see how she is Frank is gon in Mrs Mecunber She said give her respects to you Thomas is in the Army yet we received a letter from him this weak he well he said he try and git a fulow next month if he could / he was to Charlestown Western VA Camp Piatt Albert and Philetus is in the Hospital at Phelidelphia yet Augustus has served his time he is to home now Adelbert I have not herd from him in some time Benjamen folks is all well that is so Loray has a nother boy She calls it William Thomas Graim has benn home on a furlow he and Willey is well he has gown back thay are down on the Potomack now thay talk of draften hear next month it thought by a good menney this wair wont last much longer but I dont see eney sines of it closen Ezra folks has got a boy four weaks old thay are keepen hous in Jeners block Charles Vandine has ben home on a furlow James Vandine is a prisanor has benn for 4 or 5 month Charley Tod and James Besley dide on the Rebels hanes we have herd thay starved to deth their has agraite meney thousen prisnors starved Frankey adopted Father is a prisnor now this Broomfield girl that had the baby is onley thirt forteen years old she had a tuff one I think Delia wright soon tell me all of the news it hard times hear every thing is high hear Plinney has not had eney work for three month to bee earning eney thing I sold 10 dollers worth of dride aples this winter Butter 50 cents a pound Eggs 30 cents a dosen factory cloth from fiftey cents to seventy five per yard calico from forty to fifty five per yard Every thing high acording wright soon Plinney and Francey joines with me in senden much love to you Delia have you got over being homsick be you coming down in the spring Good bye received this from your true and loving Aunt Dency C Hibbard
