Stillman W. Bosworth was born around 1809. He married a woman named Nancy, and they had at least two children: Sarah, born around 1834; and Whitman, born around 1839. His wife died on June 1, 1843, and he eventually married a woman named Hannah. By 1855, they were living in Dudley, Massachusetts. Five years later, he was working as a farmer in Dudley, Massachusetts, and he owned $800 of personal property. He was also helping operate a “pauper farm” with at least seven residents. By 1870, he owned $2,500 of real estate and $1,000 of personal property. A decade later, he was living in Woodstock, Connecticut. He died in Eastford, Connecticut, in 1895.
