Margaret Fraser
Margaret Fraser (maiden name: Prugh or Pringle) was born around 1804 in Scotland. She married Alexander Fraser, and they had at least seven children: Margaret, born around 1831; Robert, born around 1841; Agnes, born around 1837; Anne, born around 1841; Hugh, born around 1843; Jane, born around 1845; and John, born around 1847. The family immigrated to America around 1844 and settled in Allegheny, Pennsylvania. Her husband worked as a plasterer, and he died sometime in the 1850s.
 
She continued to raise her children in Allegheny, and by 1860, she owned $1,300 of real estate and $200 of personal property. A decade later, she was living with her adult daughters Anne and Agnes, and she owned $2,500 of real estate and $500 of personal property. She died around 1874.
