Dear Parants
Once more I am seated for the purpose of letting you know how I am getting along I am well at present and hope these few lines will find you the same. the reg't left hear yesterday all but Co. H. and the M. I. they went with the fifth 5 corps and second 2 Corps and twenty / forth 24 Corps and the eight teenth 18 Corps they went toards the left so I gus that they will make a strike for the south side road but they will have a rainy time for it it did some raining last night and cept it up as steady as possible
Charley said when he went away that I must answer his letter but I will wait till a better chance last night we had orders to pack up and hitch up the orders was countermanded
