Kind Parants I thought that you would like to hear hear from your little solger boy he is well and is as tuff as a bare and I hope these few lines will find you the same yesterday the 10 we left camp and come to brandy station and the distance of six miles from camp we put up for the night and to day about 12 oclock and come hear and fixed some bridges on the corduroy road we are about three miles from the station / our camp is in a nice place thare is four in my tent that is Voorhis Harrison Johnson Charley and my self. James Besemer was left behind at washington with the mumps and he was the luckey one I cant think of anny more to wright at presant so good by for this time you must excuse al mistakes for i rote this in a hearry and laying down to
