Sarah Brigham was born around 1839 in New York. By 1855, she was living with Elijah W. Brigham, who may have been her uncle. Elijah was a farmer who lived in Broome County, New York, and owned $6,000 of real estate and $500 of personal property. Sarah died sometime after 1870.
