Fannie A. Nichols
Fannie A. Nichols was born around 1859 in Taunton, Massachusetts, to Joseph and Sarah Nichols. Her father earned a living as a clerk, and he died on October 17, 1875. She grew up and attended school in Taunton. She remained in her mother’s household until at least 1880, and she brought in money by working in a silver shop. She married Albert F. Vaughan on May 22, 1884, and their son Lawrence was born around 1898. They lived in Taunton, and her husband worked as an overseer in a silver shop. Her mother died on December 6, 1888, and she became her younger sister Mary's legal guardian. Her husband died in 1921. He died in 1921. By 1930, she was living in her sister Ellen’s household in Taunton. She died there in 1945.
