Dear Parents
I have to day received that letter which you wrote to me about that box I would have come up if I had got it in time I am very sorry I did not but I will send one by and some other time I persume the boys will share to gether your letter was writen two weaks week ago to morrow what do you think hindered it I can not make up my mind I sent Ira some mittens tow two weeks to morrow I supose your box has gone before now and I could do you know good about getting it reddy at this late ower hour and our folks have enough for me to do now for Mother is sick we have had to sit up with her every night since Saturday last /
 
to day is Sunday and I
will try to imrove it by w
we think she is some better now but not so as to sit up even long enough to have her bed made our folks are all in bed but me now. I thought I would write and tell you about the letter for I thought you would think strange that I did not come up I should have come if I had known it in time
the last letter I had was the 12 of Dec wheuch which I received last saturday I persume you have hurd from him since then Perly has not gone home yet you did not say eney thing about that picture I sent up did you not get it I dont know when I shall come up I can not till Mother gets better you say you had got four at school I dont see who the forth can be
