Eliza Ford
Eliza Ford (maiden name: Kilday) was born on February 10, 1841, in Crawford County, Pennsylvania, to Daniel Kilday and Sarah Zarley. Her father was a farmer who owned $2,000 of real estate in 1850. She grew up in Crawford County, and she married Freeman Ford around 1860. They had at least two children: Jesse, born around 1861; and Elsworth, born around 1864. By 1860, they were living in Mesopotamia, Ohio, and her husband was working as a farmer. They owned $3,750 of real estate and $1,000 of personal property. A decade later, they owned $7,000 of real estate and $1,200 of personal property. She remained in Mesopotamia for the rest of her life, and she died there on March 23, 1900.
