Nathaniel D. Wiggin to Darling H. Chadbourn, 18 September 1862
Washington D.C.
Sept 18th 1862
D. H. Chadbourn Esq
Dear Sir
Your brother
(Lieut Paul Chadbourn) is here sick with a fever. He has been sick some days, and cannot sit up but little: about long enough to have his bed made up. He says if you can conveniently he should like to have you come out and see him immediately. You can find him at "No 267 8th Street West" He has all attention that we can show him, but he would feel much better to have you with him.
Respectfully
Yours—
Nathaniel Wiggin
