Ebenezer Wallace
Ebenezer Wallace was born around 1834 in South Carolina to Jane Wallace. He grew up in Abbeville District, South Carolina, and by 1850, he was working as a farmer. By the early 1860s, he was living in Mississippi. He enlisted in the Confederate army on May 4, 1861, and he mustered in a private in the 20th Mississippi Infantry. He was eventually promoted to corporal. He was killed in action near Dover, Tennessee, on February 17, 1862.
