Letitia C. Wallace
Letitia C. Wallace (maiden name unknown) was born around 1840 in South Carolina. She married John T. Wallace. They lived in Anderson District, South Carolina, and her husband worked as a farmer. By 1860, they owned $500 of personal property. Her husband enlisted in the Confederate army in March 1862, and he died in the Battle of Fredericksburg on December 13, 1862. In the spring of 1864, she filed a claim with the Confederate government to receive the money they still owned to her husband. Soon afterward, she received $76.95. She died sometime after 1864.
