Harriet Cordelia Geer
Harriet Cordelia Geer was born around 1847 in Ohio to Alexander and Cordelia Geer. Her father was a carpenter. The family lived in Waynesfield, Ohio.
 
She married John A. Church on August 13, 1866, and they had at least six children: George, born around 1867; Hattie, born around 1871; Lillie, born around 1877; Lulu, born around 1882; Frederick, born around 1883; and Eva, born around 1886. They lived in Maumee, Ohio, and her husband worked as a farm laborer. Her husband died in 1894, and she applied for a widow’s pension that June.
 
She remained in Maumee and raised her children. By 1930, she owned a home valued at $7,000. She died in Maumee on February 25, 1936.
