My Dear sister
I received your very kind leter of the 19th last evening which I received and red with plesure. I was very happy to hear from you again. to hear that you was well and ingoying yourself so much for I like to see young peoples injoy themselves and I love to have fun myself. Dear sister your leter found me in as good health as it left you Eliza I received A leter from Brother Joseph last evening which He inform me that our parents is all well and they all sand thir love to us all He sad that his little boy and Girld was just as smart as A whip and he sad that they often ask him when thir uncle Frank is coming to see them. and the rest of the news I will not tell you because I am agoing to sand the leter to you as soon as I git it answer or the next time I write to you. Dear sister you sad that you had a leter from pa the week before you wrote. well I have one about/the same time and I had A very good leter to. Dear sister you sad that tila boss wanted her to come back and work in the Mill. well Eliza if Matilda as got a good place to work I should advice her to stay where she is for I dont think it is very healthy to work in the Mills. Eliza when you see Mr Hill tell him that if I ever go back North I will go and make him a good viset and I will tell him lots of news about the war for I could tell him more news in half an hour then I can write in a week. you must not forget to give him and his wife my best respect and also to Mr Marsel family and tell them that I dont forget my friends I would like to be with you and my friends new year so to injoy myself with you all. but as I am not you must have as much A fun as you can and I will do the same. Dear sister we expect to have A Crismiss dinner and I invite you to come and take crismiss dinner with us. will you come, say why dont you answer me.
Dear sister I beleave this is all I have to say at present so I will bring my leter to A close. you must write as often as you can and write all the news. Give my love to all your friends and also a share for yourself. good by.
